PREMIO TECHNOLOGY · THE STORY
Meet OmniScan.
Graded trading cards are a multi-billion-dollar market that still runs like a flea market. Thousands of slabbed Pokémon, One Piece and Yu-Gi-Oh cards hit online marketplaces every day, across several countries, around the clock. Most are priced right. A few aren't. Those few are where the money is, and they disappear in minutes.
Nobody can watch all of that by hand. OmniScan was built to.
It watches the markets, so we don't have to.
Selected international marketplaces, around the clock. When the US sleeps, it follows the sun to where buyers and sellers are awake. New listings enter its pipeline within moments, while we're working, eating or asleep.
It works out what it's looking at.
It identifies each card down to the print, edition, language and grade where the listing allows, even when the seller's title is a mess, misspelled or in the wrong category. Where normal rules can't read a listing, AI steps in. The deals other buyers scroll past are the ones it's built to catch.
It only trusts real money.
No price guides, no guesswork. Each card is valued from verified recent sales of that exact card at that exact grade. Not enough real evidence? It refuses to price it. Nobody acts on a made-up number.
It does the full math.
Every fee, every shipping leg, every tax, every cross-border cost, down to the dollar. The only profit that counts is profit that would actually land.
It double-checks with two AIs.
Two separate AI models inspect the photos and read the grade label themselves, and the system cross-checks what they see against what the seller claims. Wrong card, wrong grade, wrong edition: flagged before anyone acts on it.
It's paranoid, on purpose.
It treats every "deal" as a trap until proven otherwise. It checks sales history against what's live on the market right now, drops anything that doesn't add up, and doesn't raise opportunities nobody could act on in time.
When something survives all of that, the Premio desk gets an alert with the card, the price to pay, the expected resale, the net profit and how fast the money comes back.
Nobody touches a card.
The operation runs remotely through trusted partner services. A purchased card ships straight into secure, insured storage, where it's authenticated, catalogued and listed for resale. Overseas buys route through international receiving hubs and are forwarded on. Bidding and offers are placed at the right moment, and when a card sells, the payout comes back.
No packing. No post office. Buy → store → resell → cash, run from anywhere in the world.
It's built like real software.
Every update runs through a large automated test suite and an independent AI code review before it goes live. Recent upgrades:
- broader coverage of the cards it hunts
- stronger card identification
- live cross-checks against current listings
- time-zone-aware scanning across markets
- full analytics on where every opportunity is won or lost
Where it's at
OmniScan is in a live, measured run right now: every opportunity is tracked and every result recorded. Early price predictions are tracking real sale prices, and we're measuring the hit rate before we scale.
OmniScan isn't just a bot. It's a self-running trading desk for collectibles, and it powers Premio's own buying.
